After purchasing my boat from the on-site broker, I berthed it at the marina over the Christmas break 2017-18. Just before I was due to move the boat to its permanent mooring, another boat crashed into it, damaging a topside fitting. After a delay of about a year, the fitting was finally repaired. Other than this oversight, I think there is much to commend this marina. The facilities here are very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. However, because the tidal flow is particularly strong, avoid berths on the pontoon hammerheads to minimise the chance of accidental damage
We popped in to view a couple of boats and both the marina staff and the sales office staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were allowed to use the marina toilets, which were really nice and clean; each cubicle has a shower, sink and toilet. There was also a nice looking cafe with people sat outside and, of course, having the chandlery on site must be a big plus point for boat owners. Altogether, a very positive experience!
